This Privacy Policy explains how the Institute of Financial Planning & Investment ("IFPI", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit ifpi.in or interact with our counselling, enquiry or registration forms (the "Site").

When you fill out a counselling, enquiry or registration form on this Site, we may collect:

• Your name, mobile number and email address
• Your city, preferred programme and preferred mode of learning (online/offline)
• Your current status (e.g. student, working professional, investor) and how you heard about us
• Any message or additional details you choose to share with us

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as financial account details, passwords or government ID numbers through this Site.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Contact you about counselling calls, programmes, batches and enrolment
• Understand your background so we can recommend a suitable programme
• Respond to your queries and provide customer support
• Improve our website, courses and communication

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

We do not sell your personal information. Information submitted through our forms is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to authorised IFPI staff, and may be shared with:

• IFPI staff and faculty involved in counselling, admissions and support
• Service providers who help us operate the Site (for example, Google Workspace/Sheets), bound by their own data-protection terms
• Authorities, where required by law

4. WhatsApp & communication channels

If you contact us via WhatsApp or join our WhatsApp community, your phone number and messages are visible to IFPI as they would be in any WhatsApp conversation or group, subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. By reaching out via WhatsApp or joining our community, you consent to being contacted through that channel about programmes, batches and updates.

5. Cookies & similar technology

This Site is a static website and does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. It loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a standard technical connection to Google's servers to deliver font files. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us, including restricting access to our lead-management sheet to authorised personnel. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide our services, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your information as described below.
